Class
From virtual reality to computer games, immersive media have the potential of providing novel spatial experiences. They are therefore dealing closely with one of architectures core competencies: Space.
The seminar offers an introduction to the unity game engine, where applications for a range of immersive media from iOS games to VR experiences can be created. We will focus on various use cases for this technology in an architectural setting, concentrating on the creation of immersive environments both on the desktop and in virtual reality.
The class will be held in several blocks, each concerned with a different aspect of the engine.
Remarks:
Experience in 3D modelling and visualization is required. The seminar is taught in English. Participants should own a relatively strong computer with dedicated graphics card.
