At the "Real Estate Arena" trade fair in May 2023, the associations representing the interests of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and urban planning will have a joint booth, as they did in 2022. The design and implementation of the booth will be carried out as a design-build project by students from the Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts and Leibniz University Hannover.
The project is divided into two parts. The first part is a one-week design workshop, at the end of which there will be a presentation of a design to be realised. The second part deals with production planning, manufacturing and assembly of the measuring stand. Both parts are credited with 5 CP each. With the exhibition stand, the dMA department continues the thematic focus on small reusable components. The aim is to develop design variations along this concept and building on previous work that meet the spatial and communicative requirements of an exhibition booth.
Skills in digital design with Rhino, Grasshopper, VRay and VR are helpful, but not a prerequisite.
