Elective module
Course
This course offers an introduction to the printing technique of silkscreen. After an introduction to the basics of the technique and the printing workshop, participants will develop motifs which will then be transferred—either by gluing or via photo emulsion—and then printed. Students will discover various design- and application possibilities through practical exercises. They are also welcome to try out experimental techniques. Ultimately, participants will produce silkscreen prints in limited editions on a theme of their choice.
The goal is to develop independent access to this printing technique and its many applications.
