Fleeting Traces

In this seminar we will deal with the observation of movement in urban space. What happens? To what degree does our own movement (walking, standing, biking, etc.) influence our perception? Which visible and invisible traces exist, and how can they be captured? We will experiment with various methods of recording (drawing, writing, photography, possibly also sound- or video recording…) and with performative interventions. The artistic goal is to lay one’s own trace in public space.
